2008 Christmas Videos - The Chickasha Oklahoma Christmas Festival of Light
Each year at Christmas time, the city of Chickasha, Oklahoma is the proud home of the Chickasha Festival of Light for the 15th year running. Chickasha has received national recognition for this incredible display of Christmas lights encompassing all of Shannon Springs Park. While you can enjoy the 2008 Festival of Light by driving around the park or even taking a horse drawn carriage ride, this year we got out of the car and walked the perimeter of the park. Not only did we get some exercise, it allowed us a better view and enjoy the Christmas displays of the light from many different angles. It's also fun to see the joy on the childrens faces. For reasons that are clear, children love the flashing lights of Christmas.
This Christmas season, the Festival of Light will be open this year until December 31st, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
